I was born in Amsterdam, Holland, in 1943.
I received a masters degree in law from Erasmus University Rotterdam
in 1986, and have worked for the Civil Law Department of the Amsterdam
Court of Justice since 1987.
I live in Abcoude, a small village near Amsterdam.
As a child I was a journalist and editor for a Dutch weekly newspaper,
and in the summer of 1956 I received an invitation to visit Hungary.
Since that time I have had a special tie with Hungary.
I very much enjoyed my time there. I liked the country, the people and
the language very much. After that I corresponded with many Hungarian
children and tought myself Hungarian with a dictionary.
To me, Hungary is my second homeland.
I came back many times and hope to come back very often.
After I got acquainted with my friend Gizus I went to the Tolna area
on several occasions.
In my free time I take many pictures.
I took these photos in Holland (Amsterdam, Abcoude and surroundings),
Spain (Mallorca, Andalucia and Barcelona), Australia and Bali (Indonesia).
